Credentialled Diabetes Educators (CDE) have not only completed post graduate studies in Diabetes Management but have also achieved credentialling status through the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). CDEs are recognised as experts in Diabetes education and management — they are advanced practice clinicians and need to commit to ongoing professional education and clinical skills development to maintain their status as a CDE.
