Newly DIgnosed Type 2 diabetes

Being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes can feel daunting — but you don't have to navigate it alone. With the right education and support, most people are able to manage their diabetes well and live a full, healthy life.

As a Credentialled Diabetes Educator, I provide personalised education and support tailored to where you are in your diabetes journey. Whether you've just been diagnosed or have been managing type 2 diabetes for a while and want to feel more in control, I'm here to help.

In a consultation, I can help you understand:

  • What type 2 diabetes is and what it means for you
  • How food, activity, and lifestyle affect your blood glucose levels
  • How to monitor your blood glucose at home
  • Your medications and how they work
  • How to set realistic goals and build sustainable habits
  • When and how insulin may be introduced, if needed

Consultations are available via telehealth, so you can access support from the comfort of your own home — no travel required.
